The doctrinal commonality between the Kingdom of Morocco and the countries of West Africa has been the bridge of communication and cooperation between them since the introduction of Islam, and a safety valve against extremism and radicalism. This commonality is mainly manifested in the Maliki school of thought, which is one of the oldest and most famous schools of jurisprudence, the most widespread, and the deepest understanding of the spirit and purposes of Islamic law. It is the doctrine of the people of Madinah and the people of Hadith throughout time and space. It has been widely spread in the geography of the Islamic world, east and west, and God has reconciled the hearts of a large number of Muslims, ancient and modern, bringing them together, unifying their word, and shielding them from division and disagreement. The Maliki School has remained the official jurisprudence of the Kingdom of Morocco and Andalusia, and has been widely spread in the countries of the African continent since Islam entered it through Egypt in East Africa, while West Africa was entered by Islam through the Sahara Desert, the vast gateway between the Kingdom of Morocco and Africa. This scientific article aims to shed light in general on many aspects and commonalities between the Kingdom of Morocco and African countries in many religious, political, economic, social and other fields. In particular, we will limit ourselves to a deep reading of the historical relationship between these countries in close connection with the doctrinal commonality and its role in social development in our contemporary time between Morocco and these countries to be a more specialized and rigorous research, in addition to providing a qualitative addition in the field of the prospects of relations and common constants between Morocco and the countries of the African continent. The Kingdom of Morocco is united with African countries, especially the western ones, by ancient ties rooted in the depth of history due to the common Islamic values and principles in terms of faith, doctrine and tazkiyah, in addition to its unique geographical location, as it overlooks two sea fronts, in addition to the diversity of its cultural tributaries derived from the homogeneity and harmony of its multiple social fabric and its openness to its regional and international surroundings, which has given the Kingdom of Morocco the highest position and leadership in leading these countries and peoples to achieve their unity and civilizational renaissance.
