초록·키워드
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among educational satisfaction, class engagement, and self-efficacy in adult women participating in dance programs, thereby providing basic data for improving the quality of dance education and promoting sustainable participation. The results showed that educational satisfaction had a significant effect on class engagement, with instructional effectiveness and the learning environment identified as key factors. In addition, class engagement positively influenced self-efficacy, indicating that immersive learning experiences contribute to enhancing both physical and psychological self-efficacy as well as overall life satisfaction. Moreover, educational satisfaction was closely associated with self-efficacy, in that higher satisfaction led to greater engagement, which in turn contributed to positive emotions, achievement, and social development. These findings suggest that educational satisfaction is an important strategy for improving engagement and self-efficacy in adult women’s dance education, and this study provides evidence that may support the design of dance programs and policies to promote sustainable artistic participation and the integration of dance activities into daily life.
