    Individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) often face challenges in essential daily living skills, such as using public transportation. Virtual reality (VR) offers a safe and repeatable environment for practicing these skills, but accessibility barriers remain. Current approaches rely on continuous trainer monitoring, limiting scalability and timely support. This study aimed to identify barriers during a VR-based daily living task and characterize behavioral patterns linked to each barrier. A VR bus- taking task was developed, and 32 participants with ID completed it while head-mounted display and hand controller data were recorded. Three barrier types were identified through trained observation: instruction understanding, visual information understanding, and controller use. Each barrier showed distinct behavioral features from head and hand tracking data, with statistically significant differences depending on the presence of each barrier. These findings support the development of VR systems that detect barriers and provide timely assistance.
