This study has been carried out by 933 male and 499 female students who attend the elementary, middle, high special school for the mentally retarded at Seoul and Gyeonggi region. And they performed 12 sub motor skill tests, and their results applied to Rasch's Rating Scale model to estimate the difficulty and goodness-of-fit at each test. After analyzing the results of this study, the following conclusions were drawn;First, as a results of applying Item Response theory to analyze the data of sub motor skill test, maximum investigation in distribution of subjects was unexpectedly found by difficulty parameter, goodness-of-fit.Second, the difficulty parameter ranged from -2.04 to 0.84 at each of 12 sub-motor skill test and from 0.88 to 1.53 at 48 item for sub motor test. Third, according to the Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA result, there is a significant difference among the difficulty parameter in group, test types and sub-test.Fifth, the subjects showing misfit response at each sub test item are 527 (36.80%) of total 1432 subjects.Sixth, it hypothesized that as difficulty level goes up, the test result of test goes down but in this study the unexpected response patterns occurred.
