According to this thesis, in the history of modern Chinese literary form, Luxun's reviews contain profound and abundant literary thoughts and serve as a theoretic basis for modern Chinese literary form. This thesis presents those theoretic ideas step by step.In the construction of Luxun's writing style, there exists three patterns: obeying rules, departing from rules and reestablishing rules. This thesis proves Luxun to be a creative and original model for the many forms of modern Chinese Literature after analyzing the characteristics in such essays as: Crying Out, Wild Grass, Newly Compiled Stories.
