The folk ballads reflect the social phenomenon and the thoughts, honestly display the spirit of the age compared to any literature. In other words, universality of basic sentiment and particularity of different from era to era also exist in the folk ballads.
Especially Ancient folk ballads have the spirit of the age that "It does feel about the joys and sorrows, also It is produced based on fact.", It is expressed homesickness of traveler, love of man and woman, joys and sorrows of life, uncertainty of life etc. Most of them express love of man and woman. especially that deals with 'Grudge of woman'. It has common subjects extend over Han, the Six Dynasty, Dang, also is expressed different from era to era.
Therefore this essay macroscopically inspect ancient(B.C206- A.D907 approximately 1000) folk ballads for three era tidal current and each dynastic development situation.
The essay will divide into three dynasty folk ballads drafts 征婦怨、棄婦怨、別婦怨.
Through the content analysis, may know four results: First, the 'GuiYuan' time background concentrates in the fall night and the winter night, the special background concentrates in the boudoir and the garden. Second, may know 'GuiYuan' subject lyrics mainly displays by the monologue body. Third, there are contrast between the type of expression according to era. Fourth, folk Ballads of the age reflects that time's unique spirit of the age.
