Through the Classical Prose Movement, the Chinese ancient prose was improved accomplished to form its perfect style and contents and produced its best works. The Classical Prose Movement has been examined by many researchers, hereupon this study tried to discuss about the early Northern Song prose.This study investigated more details about writers of the paired style and the old style who were hidden contributors to Ouyang Xiu(歐陽修) and Su Shi(蘇軾) who led the Classical Prose Movement during the Song Dynasty. Especially, zhenglunwen(政論文) about development and restoration of new dynasty indicated literary, practical, realistic direction of prose and influenced later ages for a long time. Since then, Both pianwen(騈文) and guwen(古文) was often written with political contents and zhenglunwen(政論文) was more activated by the paired style or santi(散體) with appealing voice elegantly.Particularly, at early Northern Song, Wang Yucheng followed the style of Han Yu, respected teachings of Liujing(六經), guided Fan Zhongyan(范仲淹) and Ouyang Xiu through simple and elegant zhenglunwen. The contents of his zhenglunwen such as expansion of the authority of the prime minister(宰相權), an essay on cliques(朋黨論), respect of military subjects, curtailment of taxation, etc was inherited to reform ideology of Qinglixinzheng(慶歷新政) and influenced on restoration of the old style about guya(古雅) with plain style. During this study, it was difficult to collect the documents, studies, records, etc about my research due to too much emphasizing on the Eight Great Writers (唐宋八大家) before. It should be more studied in this field and if there are more future studies in this field, it is can be executed to compare between Ouyang Xiu and Wang Yucheng.
