An objective of this stydy is to make clear the one of Korean discourse marker 'issjanha' in term of: it's microscopic meaning and functions. Discourse markers have no solid coherence of it is own meaning, quality, and functions but the matters situated dependable. Accordingly, the discourse marker reveales its meaning and functions to perform when we look into the situation of how the word used. The discourse marker 'issjanha' derived from a form of the syntactic negation that causes in common ways of denial 'issji- anh- a'(있지 않아) an active making of such as: the rhyming adjacency, shortened-words, and a specific negation 'eop- da(없다)‘. This 'issjanha' can be laid in any parts of the sentences except for acting as an independent component in an end of, and/or amongst of a sentence. The meaning and it's functions belong to the discourse marker 'issjanha' are as follows. Firstly, it functions the start of any colloquies running conversation. Who starts a colloquy put the word 'issjanha' in the first place, while appeals an intention to start a dialogue of own. Secondly, the colloquial party likes to induce the topic by put the word 'issjanha' behind the thematic matters or topics. Thirdly, the speaker likes to conclude talks laying the word 'issjanha' in mid of the dialogue; meanwhile to lead in new staged topics. Fourthly, the speaker exercises his or her intension to earn the time-pause for own by laying the word 'issjanha' in, behind of words, phrases and/or clauses. Fifthly, using the word 'issjanha' in several midpoints amongst words, speaker's intention could carve a seal of messages one by one to the listener(without missing).
