The purpose of this writing is to study on an education of poetic composition and a heightening of the imaginative faculty. The education of poetic composition is the fundamental studies of all education of creative literary composition. This writing discusses what the student, a trainee of poetry could heighten a poetic imaginative power through three ways in the lesson hours for the education of a poetic composition.
The first method is to heighten a poetic imaginative power through observation and experience. It’s just the factors of a writing content that a poet gets from observation on the matters and experience in worldly affairs. The poet’s imaginative faculty would be heightened in such material for thought.
The second method is to heighten a poetic imaginative faculty through meditation and association of ideas. The process has to advance from meditation to association of ideas. The student, a trainee of poetry who gained a poetic sentiment through a contemplative meditation could maximize his imaginative power through association of ideas.
The third method is to heighten a poetic imaginative faculty through recollection and reproduction. Recollection is the past matter and reproduction is the current matter. A difference between the two of past and present would be able to stimulate a poetic imaginative faculty more and more.
There is an interrelation between importance of the education for a composition and that of a poetic composition. Poetry is the creation in the most lofty level accomplished by human’s spirit. The student, a trainee of poetry who has an imaginative power would be able to live a meaningful life with happiness of living through a poetic composition.
