The study compared characteristics between Chinese language culture and Korean language culture as a learning method to be beyond ‘A Doorsill of Acculturation’, regarding cultural difficulties of Korean learners learning Chinese language as ‘A Doorsill of Acculturation’.
Above all, the study investigated the necessity of learning Chinese language culture and the learners’ requirements for detailed items through analysis on the learners’ requirements and applied the investigation to development of culture-teaching items. Also, the study confirmed the necessity of learning Chinese language culture by examining phenomena of Chinese language culture and proposed directions for development of learning items of Chinese culture by examining culture-teaching items in real textbooks of Chinese language. Speech-act differences in Korean-Chinese language culture emphasized in conclusion of the study will be studied in the future, connecting with a study on expression by each speech act to raise Chinese language culture ability.
