According to the common survey between Korea and China, Korea-China FTA will contribute to the economic growth of the two countries by increasing Korea-China trade and foreign direct investment. Especially it will contribute to the economic growth of Korea furthermore. But Korea-China FTA will not always make contributions to the economy of Korea and it is likely to bring about the considerably negative results in some aspects including agriculture, fishery, labor-intensive industry and small and medium-size enterprises.It is expected that Korea-China FTA will influence the economy of Northeast Asian countries including Japan and North Korea as well as that of Korea and China. Especially, Japan is sure to face the loss of trade by substituting Korea-Japan or China-Japan trade for Korea-China trade because of Korea-China FTA. And North Korea is likely to be influenced by Korea-China FTA more or less in terms of South Korea-North Korea trade and FDI.
