The first part of this paper deals with the reasons and backgrounds of writing this thesis briefly, and thereafter the second part of this paper explains about each scholar’s opinions on the leading functions of the theory of Chinese Socialistic Market Economy. The third part of this thesis explain about the environmental factors which makes it difficult to perform the leading functions of the theory of Chinese Socialistic Market Economy. Those factors include the structural problems of Chinese Socialistic Market Economy System itself, social environmental factors in which de-rationalization is widely contaminated, structural disproportion problems between political and economic reform in People’s Republic of China, the problems of establishing perfect legislative system etc.. The fourth part of this paper explains about the factors of ill effects and aftermath which were caused by the problems of performing the non-economic functions of the theory of Chinese Socialistic Market Economy, as a leading theory for modernizing Chinese society. Those factors include the advent of materialism, the appearance of the culture of irrational spirit, the expansion trend of income gaps between different social strata and different areas, corruption problems, deterioration of spiritual culture, the problems of the people’s incorrect understanding on the government’s policies and measurements, etc.. The fifth part of this thesis presents the appropriate policies and schemes for solving the outstanding problems, which include exhaustive structural reform, effective re-arrangement of power structure, improvement of mental faculties and brain power, reform of cultural structure and breaking-down of irrationality and illogicality, etc..
