This study considers the problems of survey items and its contents, evaluation items and its methods, and their improvement ideas involving the GGL(geomorphology/geology/landscape) parts of the uninhabited island management. Problems related to survey and evaluation procedures are the followings. First, survey items and contents are not classified in lower units. Secondly, survey contents are biased, only dealing with particular parts rather than the typical(geomorphology/geology/landscape) ones. Thirdly, in the present schemes, the evaluations concerning geology and landscape parts are relatively low, according to the "geomorphological conservation grade evaluation and the grade classification standards" of the ministry of environment. Thus the following improvement ideas are necessary. Firstly, lower unit classification of geomorphology/geology/landscape parts is required. Secondly, the above parts must contain erosional-weathered and deposited parts in geomorphology, land and marine parts in geology, and general and regional parts in landscape, respectively. Thirdly, evaluation items must be composed of the following contents; representation, variability, scarcity and non-revival in the cases of geomorphology and geology. In the case of landscape, nature, harmony and scale muse be contained. Lastly, evaluations on the above items should be graded by 3-levels, good, moderate, and poor.
