The paper deals with character adjectives , classifying them and analysing theirsemantics. In semantic fields, we discuss mainly the classification and refinementand the problems semantic about stative adjectives, we tries to differentiate thetypes of the adjectives from the angle ofsemantics.At last ,the adjectives were classified under 6 different types, which include quantitative adjectives·absoluteadjectives·relative adjectives·Objective nature of adjectives·feeling adjectives and Subjective adjectives.
