This Study examined the Daegu Technopolis, an industrial area in Daegu city, Korea for the future development of regional social, economic growth strategies.
Several candidate industries including textile, machinery, automobile parts are tested using layer structure analysis statistical model of Expert-Choice software package.
The results highlight the automobile parts and electricity/electronics industries have the best prospects for the Daegu Technopolis for not only potential employment but effective production and growth, especially financial supports from Korean government.
