The purpose of this study was to provide value for preserving and retaining the clip of the business system that accepts sports in Korea. Based on overseas cases where the public-private partnership(PPP) is an important policy that can recognize public achievements in the sports industry and can be used as an important tool to promote development in the sports industry if possible, the right time has come to present a model for Korea's reality through agreement research, pilot research, and the government. First, the PPP model can alleviate the initial investment burden of sports facilities and enhance operational efficiency by utilizing private expertise. However, the conflict between publicity and profitability, complex legal procedures, and risk management issues remain challenges to be solved. Second, as a result of the case study, developed countries such as the UK have secured the publicity and sustain ability of PPP projects through cooperation with local communities and technology utilization, while Korea has found it difficult to recover its initial investment and operating expenses in some projects. Third, in expert interviews, strengthening policy support, improving legal systems, introducing smart technologies, and expanding cooperation with local communities were suggested as major tasks for the success of sports PPP projects. While emphasizing that the PPP project in the sports field has a high possibility of development under mutual cooperation between the public and the private sector, it suggests that the government, the private sector, and the local community should clearly play their respective roles to successfully promote the project.
