This study examines research trends in cohousing in the Republic of Korea using text mining techniques. A total of 70 KCI-indexed journal articles were collected and analyzed using term frequency (TF), TF-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF), and network analysis. The findings indicate that Korean cohousing research has primarily focused on social dimensions, particularly community interaction, resident participation, and senior-centered households. Keywords related to social relationships formed a central structure and exhibited strong interconnections. Meanwhile, physical and environmental aspects, such as space, design, and planning, were also identified, although they tended to play a relatively supportive role within the overall network structure. These results suggest that Korean cohousing research has been structured around social relationships and highlight the need for more in-depth environmental design approaches. However, as the analysis is limited to KCI-indexed journals and text-based data, it may not fully capture the broader scope of research in this field.
