This study examines three-generation housing using case studies to explore the relationship between spatial structure, intergenerational interaction, and housing performance. Six examples in Korea, Japan, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Singapore were analyzed. The findings indicate that spatial structure is a central system organizing interaction while housing performance components, including climate response, Universal Design, smart systems, and policy, act as facilitators. Differences across countries were observed in how housing performance elements were applied, reflecting variations in shared-space integration, building performance, technological support, and policy frameworks. The results demonstrate that housing performance is structurally integrated with spatial organization, with multiple conditions supporting intergenerational interaction.
