초록·키워드
This study analyzed the cultural meanings and formative characteristics of Liangshan Yi ceremonial costumes and reinterpreted them through an integrated fashion design process that combined artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC) with CLO 3D. Literature, visual materials, and field photographs were examined to identify characteristics of form, silhouette, dressing method, color, material, pattern, and decoration. These elements were then converted into design concepts, keywords, and prompts, which were used to generate approximately 200 images. Through consensus-based evaluation, three researchers selected six concepts and, subsequently, two final designs for pattern construction and 3D simulation.
The analysis identified cape-like and wrapping silhouettes, asymmetrical fastenings, multilayered construction, voluminous pleats, radial structures, and elongated decorations. The major formative principles derived from these features included expansion, overlapping, repetition and rhythm, contrast, asymmetrical balance, and visual movement. Design 1 reinterpreted the white wedding cape, layered structure, and pleated skirt as a hooded cape with a multilayered silhouette. Design 2 combined a black palette with an asymmetrical fastening, a wrapping structure, and elongated drapery. The CLO 3D analysis showed relatively high simulated pressure around the waist and shoulders in Design 1 and localized pressure at the side neck in Design 2. A high value observed at the skirt hem of Design 2 was excluded from the wearability interpretation because it occurred in a non-contact area and its cause could not be verified.
This study proposes an integrated process that connects cultural analysis, AIGC-based ideation, pattern construction, and virtual fit evaluation. Within this process, AIGC served as a tool for ideation and visualization, while CLO 3D was used to translate the selected images into garment structures.
