This study examines the relationship between potential co-presence with foreign residents and psychological reassurance in daily activity spaces within immigrant-dense neighborhoods. Data were collected by a professional survey firm between September and October 2023. Of the 506 respondents, 503 with valid activity-space data—295 native Korean residents and 208 foreign residents—were included in the analysis. Survey-based indicators of potential co-presence and usage frequency were constructed across four activity-space types and five time blocks, and their associations with psychological reassurance were examined using ordinal logistic regression with respondent-clustered standard errors. Foreign resident status was positively associated with higher reassurance in the proportional-odds model (OR=6.175), although the magnitude should be interpreted cautiously given differences in survey mode and sample selection. The interaction model provided evidence that the association between potential co-presence and reassurance varied across activity-space contexts. In public spaces, an increase of 0.10 from the median level of potential co-presence corresponded to a 5.9% increase in the predicted probability of reassurance, although this pattern remained exploratory after adjustment for multiple comparisons. These findings suggest that daily activity-space contexts, particularly public spaces, warrant further investigation in policies and research concerning immigrant-dense neighborhoods.
