초록·키워드
This study investigated the effects of a 4-week proprioceptive exercise and lower extremity resistance training program on the lower limb muscle function of elite athletes, yielding the following conclusions: 1. Changes in Peak Torque at an Angular Velocity of 60°/sec. In right knee extension, the proprioceptive exercise group showed a significant increase after the intervention (p<.05). The lower-extremity muscle strength exercise group showed no significant increase after the intervention. 2. Changes in Total Work at an Angular Velocity of 60°/sec. In right knee flexion, both the proprioceptive exercise group and the lower extremity resistance training group showed significant increases after the intervention (p<.05). In left knee extension, a significant post-exercise increase was observed exclusively in the lower extremity resistance training group (p<.05). 3. Changes in Average Power at an Angular Velocity of 60°/sec. In right knee flexion, both the proprioceptive exercise group and the lower extremity resistance training group demonstrated significant increases post-intervention (p<.05). In right knee extension, the proprioceptive exercise group showed a significant increase after the intervention (p<.05). Taken together, these findings indicate that the 4-week proprioceptive exercise and lower extremity resistance training programs are effective in improving muscle function. This improvement is interpreted to be primarily driven by the enhanced functional development of the dominant lower extremity.
