초록·키워드
The coastal waters of Dokdo are experiencing ongoing marine environmental change. This study evaluated the growth patterns and physiological condition of major fish species using the length–weight relationship (LWR) and condition factor (K). Fish were collected seasonally from 2020 to 2024 using trammel nets at four stations (20–50 m depth). Species represented by at least 30 individuals were included in the LWR analysis. Of the 19 species, 14 exhibited isometric growth. Thamnaconus modestus, Pleurogrammus azonus, and Goniistius zonatus exhibited positive allometric growth, whereas Oplegnathus fasciatus and Evynnis tumifrons exhibited negative allometric growth. Most species showed no significant seasonal or interannual variation in LWR, although T. modestus and O. fasciatus varied seasonally, and T. modestus, O. fasciatus, and Sebastes pachycephalus varied among years. Seasonal variation in K was observed in T. modestus, O. fasciatus, and S. pachycephalus, whereas all six analyzed species showed interannual variation without a consistent directional trend. Overall, LWR showed limited seasonal and interannual variation in most species, whereas K reflected seasonal physiological variation in several species. These findings provide baseline information for understanding fish ecology in the coastal waters of Dokdo.
