This study investigates the solidification of water plant sludge mixed with domestic waste incineration bottom ash through cement addition, The solidification experiment was carried out by adding the same amount of cement in different dry ratio of sludge and incineration bottom ash. The density of solidified body, unconfined compressive strength of solidified body were tested. pH value, total nitrogen and total phosphorus in the extract of original material and solidified body were also tested. It is found that with the increase of the amount of incineration bottom ash, the density and the unconfined compressive strength of the solidified body increased, the coefficient of variation gradually decreased, and the stability of the solidified body is improved. At the same time, the variation coefficients of the solidified bodies were high and the consistency between repeats is low with six different ratios of incineration bottom ash and sludge. With the amount of sludge added increases, the solidification cannot effectively inhibit the microbial activities in the sludge, which may have a harmful impact on the strength of the solidified body.
