본 연구의 목적은 화장품 광고에 나타난 립스틱 제품의 색상을 색차계로 분석하여, 제품의 색상과 발색 효과에 대해 체계적이고 종합적으로 분석하고, 각 브랜드의 시즌별 화장품광고에 나타난 립메이크업에 사용된 립스틱을 중심으로 색차계를 사용하여 동양인 여성에 맞는 립스틱 제품의 색상과 발색효과를 체계적으로 정량화된 실험방법으로 측정하여 발색효과가 뛰어난 제품을 도출하여 연구하여 기초 데이터를 제공하고자 하였다.
