This paper experimentally analyzed the performance of a water-to-water multifunctional heat pump with the variation of heat source, heat sink temperatures. The heat pump is designed with a single stage cycle for heating or cooling only, and a two stage cycle comprising of low stage and high stage cycles for hot water production. In single stage cycle cooling and heating modes, COP increased by 11.4% and 20℃ as ID EWT and OD EWT increased by 15℃ respectively. In two-stage multi-objective modes, COP increased by 27.4% respectively as OD EWT increased by 15℃.
