This study analyzed the trends in early childhood physical education research from 2012 to 2024 and examined the impact of the introduction and revision of the Nuri Curriculum on early childhood physical education research. The subjects of the study were theses registered in the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) on the topic of early childhood physical education, categorized into the 3-5 years old Nuri Curriculum, the 2015 revised Nuri Curriculum, and the 2019 revised Nuri Curriculum. First, term frequency analysis revealed that from 2012, many studies focused on children's physical development. Second, CONCOR analysis showed that in 2015, play-based programs supporting emotional and social development were emphasized, and after the 2019 revision, research focused on the combination of play and physical activities, as well as the integration of advanced technologies. This study confirmed that early childhood physical education is a vital educational tool supporting physical, emotional, and cognitive development, and it can serve as foundational data to suggest future research directions and practical guidelines.
