Organic acidemia is a form of inborn errors of metabolism. Although organic acidemia can manifest many kinds of symptoms and signs by various organ dysfunction, repeated or prolonged anemia since infantile period is uncommon. We experienced an infant with repeated anemia which was accompanied by metabolic decompensation of isovaleric acidemia and improved after management of her underlying disease, and report it with a brief review.
