Yi Yong-ak is remarkable poet in 1930s. He is one of three splendid poets in 1930s Korea. During the Japanese rules, he preserved korean language and he is valued literature ability that he could improve our language with his neat and warm poetic words. and set a milestone in history of korean poem. Mter Korean war broke out, he went over the North. And his poem was never found for a while. however, in 1957 <A collection of Yi Yong-ak's poetical works> was published in North korea. So we can see how changed his poetic VIPW. I would try to search about his 30 poems, and find how his poetic view changed in "organized literature"(which related era circumstance and policy of North.) in point of overcoming difference South & North. As a result, I conclude his unique lyricism was not turned greatly. It confirmed established literature theory that lyric resource of poet can not be converted easily. But we have to notice another reason. During the Japanese rules, our many poets incline to communism. But he stick to his own poetic view. Our tragic reality, he felt angry and pity. His strong feelings melt in his poetic world. It fully appeared against restriction of organized literature. His tendency is contrasted with many poet's rough, straight, notional thought from KAPF. Since 1960s we more wonder what aspect his poetic view have shown is period when sovereignty of Kim I-sung was estahlished and his position was narrower. we must have interest in Yi Yong-ak's transition because it will help us understand the difference of both Korea and reunion of it.
