Traditional Culture is a basic of new culture creation. Yeolnyeo(烈女) is represented Women's Culture in the Orient. The Chinese Yeolnyeo-jeon(烈女傳)』 is a series of biographies about women's lives include the chaste women(貞節型 烈女) as well as the wicked Style women( 淫女) written by Liu Hiang(劉向). But this had changed into the 『Yeolnyeo-jeon(烈女傳)』 and had influenced on Traditional women's sexual culture. Therefore Many studies had confused with 『Yeolnyeo-jeon(烈女傳)』 and 『Yeolnyeo-jeon(烈女傳)』, emphasized the Chaste women with disregard to the Wicked Style women until now. But 『Yeolnyeo-jeon(烈女傳)』's study will be discussed the Chastity in addition to the Wickedness. One genre of stories presents chaste women who sacrifice themselves to preserve their chastity. By contrast, the <Elpie-jeon> presents women who enjoy freedom of sexuality even premarital sexuality that
described women's freedom sexual culture.
『Yeolnyeo-jeon(烈女傳)』 is made new women's culture in Korea
and Japan but we saw women like 'Yu Kamdong' and 'E Urudong', who enjoy freedom of sexuality in the Choson dynasty, when women were expected to value loyalty, filial piety and chastity according in case like that men's desire can't restrain.
Also present day women's sexual culture have been easily collapsed by economic theories. So, we can see examples of men who don't think the morality value and the dignity of man, only think woman to be the
commercialization of sex. It is a tragedy that affects women not only in Korea, Japan and China, but also in Nigeria as well.
We can see sex is double-faceted for women on the one hand there
is a tradition of chastity, but on the other hand there is a instinctive wickedness. A Tradition of 『Yeolnyeo-jeon(烈女傳)』 is made the culture of chaste women by an androcentric moral and the wicked Style women's sexual culture is expressed by the instinctive women's sexual culture, therefore this subject is remained a question.
