This study aims to search the self-conciousness and reality-conciousness that the new intellectual class has in 1910s. The name of new intellctural class points out an appearence of the class which has a new knowledge and idea. The figure of them is a stoic armed with the knowledge of western modernity. They shout the revolution and awakning of the new to all realm. So they project their society co an age of the new, 'age of the boy'. And it lacks the conciousness of reality
At first, they shout the name of life, in which a man is free, indipendent and self-sufficiency. New-self is born with the education about the western modernity and it is an 'I' -heroism. They reject the past, so that they reject old age, paternal valuation and householdism. They value much of the future, which could appear in the sense of ability time-estimation. Time is value and estimable, so the stress set point to vitality escaped from idleness, silence and enervation.
When they fall into solitude which is the nessary effect of the self-heroism, they concious the real to a darkness, death and night. So they feel pressure from the external world. Heroism met a boundary and solitude came. The demoralization-self in 19205 came from the heroism and narssism in 1910's. So they arn't opposite each other.
