The purpose of this article is to describe christian education in relation to everyday life. For this, I treated everyday life from the view points of sociology and theology. Every person lives an everyday life which is taken for granted and is constructed with multidimensional, polycentric, trivial, accidental event. Everyday life is a world which emphasizes on mediocrity and experience that reinforces with rationality and cultural pluralism and that characterizes faith style the same as life style. Therefore, a study of everyday life in relation to christian education is desirable, because everyday life is a basic structure which forms personal faith, conduct and standards. Christian education in relation to everyday life pursues on holistic faith which integrates theological learning and praxis, sacred life and secular life, and mystical experience and ordinary experience. This point of view, as an objective of Christian Education would intend to show a critical reflection on everyday life, and extend to appreciating to ordinary life. As it were, christian education lets the learner sublate a dual attitude and move toward a holistic faith system and life style. curriculum of christian education would contain in trivial tasks -for example, how to eat, how to make a profit, what is marriage, how to pray, what is worship, how to abstain from food- and the hot button issues of society for having christian awareness about ordinary life. Participation and interaction would be stressed in the teaching-learning process and the secular experience of learners would be included. And an expansion of metaphor in education language would make a great contribution that christian knowledge is in accord with a person's secular everyday life. Now to conclude, concern about everyday life in christian education pursues to unit christian knowledge with praxis in everyday life.
