In the recent years, architectural design of apartments is getting focused on its qualitative aspects. Facade design of apartments is considered as the one of crucial qualitative aspects for improving appearance of apartments and differentiating between apartments.
Therefore, this study aims at ordering the design priority of design factors related to facade design of apartments in order to provide useful information when architects deal with apartments facade design.
Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) are used to analyze design factors obtained from groups of architectural experts who have worked in apartments design. The design priority order of design factors is obtained resulting from these analyses.By analyzing the design factors, it was shown that the importance of the factors came in order of the overall building shape, balcony form, main color, exterior wall shape, material, main access shape, pent house design, roof shape, window size, window shape of core, color and material of balcony, and roof color.
