Progress and development of technology after 20th century has made innovative changes in the social and architectural domains has improved the quality of life. However, there are serious environmental problems behind the convenience of life and prosperity. These problems have already become concerns which are related to the survival of human being. Architecture and environment are no longer separate concepts. They are now considered as coexisting subjects. Mutual relevancy of technology and architecture is expected to be more emphasized in the future. Therefore, necessity of study and project performed by combining technology and environment problem will become more important.
This study intends to seize the design characteristics and classification techniques followed by the application of technology in environment-friendly single buildings. Through this process, the suggestion will not stay superficially at scheme stage. By introducing more specific application method, application of various design elements can be expected.
