The purpose of this study is that we analyse participation motive of audience who participate in pro-football. With analyzing it, we'd like to research audience's opinion on sport goods. Also we'll find out what the audience desires in watching a football event. So we just understand the market of events and offer basic materials in order to make a marketing plan for increasing footballl fans.
The analysis about participation motive of audience for professional football is based on the analysis about the sport participation motive of teenage players ,the thesis of Sung chang-hyun(1996) and analysis about watching factor audience for pro-golf Kang sung-gu(2003).
For the basic environmental examination of the collected materials we used SPSS-WIN 11.0 and examined the frequency of general character with using analysis of frequency in the basic statistics.
Concretely, meaningful materials related to the participation motive was classified into detailed area. And we used 3 steps classes and methods which integrate into general theme.
We had 2 psychologists and a man who experienced qualitative analysis in order to be justified in the method of this study. We had meeting with people. After we read participants' response to this examination, we also investigated it many times. We'll find out the classified factor through this research when more than 3 people participate in this study.
We'll analyse meeting in which more than 3 specialists participated in order to increase classify about participation motive of audience of pro-soccer and confidence.
We had following conclusions as you can see.
The participation motive for the soccer game of the audience was shown as 8 types of general fields such as the pleasure(amusement), leisure activity, health, environment, event, social intercourse, activation plan, and main batter's persuasion and also classified into 21 detailed fields. The soccer game was found to have the similar parts with the baseball game in many parts. In case of the soccer game, the pleasure was shown to be the most important factor, and as the solution for the stress many people chose to enjoy the soccer game. Additionally, the audience for the soccer game were recognized to have the sensed purpose to help the development of Korean soccer, and so the activation plan for the soccer was concluded.
