The recent demands for the international conference communication needs and international conference management interests for the convention industry have developed an ESP( English for Specific Purposes) course for convention English. In respond to this new demands, more university students showed strong interests toward the study of international conference communication and management as indicated from their needs analysis data. The students also showed strong interest toward the job of meeting planners and its certified exams. The purpose for this study was to conduct research to evaluate the mock test for the certified exams for the convention English. Two levels of convention English tests : first level and second level, were administered. The subjects were thirty six university students in the "international conference communication" course and twenty test items of each convention English level 1 and level 2 was used for. the test item analysis. The mock test items. were analyzed to evaluate the difficulties of the individual test items. As' a result, this test was proved to be rather inappropriate to have balanced test results and a more valid and reliable test for the convention English should be developed for future application. Furthermore, a more professional test contents should be developed enough to be used as the course content for the convention English.
