Namhan river of Shin Kyeong-rim mainly was discussed with a combative epics from viewpoint of department of national-literature(民族文學論). Department of national-literature searches the populace(民衆) which resistance against colonialism in Namhan river. By the way the populace is determined department of national-literature.
But This study research the populace which is not determined department of national-literature. And this study emphasize the populace is being of ambivalence and mimicry. In first epic sea-hill, Dolbea is being of ambivalence which is determined robber or loyal troops(the populace), not the populace which resistance against colonialism.
In second epic Namhan river, Yeoni and Blacksmith' second son is being psychological strangeness, not the populace which resistance against colonialism. Yeoni do not love any man because dead Dolbea. And Blacksmith' second son has not comprehension and tolerance at all, so killed his elder sister's husband.
In third epic Semuzi-plain, farmers is not the struggle populace which is determined department of national-literature, but the populace of ambivalence and mimicry which is impassive New-colonialism.
