This year is "International Year of Ecotourism 2002". That much ecotourism is more remarkable tourism formation than others in the world. Nevertheless there are a lot of ecotourism resources, for example animals and plants of Mt. Halla, cave, seaside, and so on, ecotourism is not so much important in Jeju,
So this study is introducing ecotourism in Mt. Halla where a treasury of plants and animals. Because ecotourism contributes the diversification of tourism products, the diversification of tourism products contributes economical benefit to Jeiu and conservation of nature of Mt. Halla.
The conclusions of this study are four things. The first is wildlife inquiry, second is inquiry of particular scenery and the topography, third is education and publicity of biota in Mt. Halla and the last Things are education of environmental conservation and publicity of ecotourism area.
