The paper focused on our perspective of multicultural society. And majority is the already hybrid group with minority group. In the poetry of the 2000’s, it showed the realistic hybridity. This paper prove this the actual state.
The poets’s poems on multicultural society is concerned on the hybrid resistance, that cultural other became mockery of majority, not mimesis. The cultural other’s mimicry is overthrow in that they was a fake although they obey majority.
Also poet as the majority narrated the already hybrid group themselves with minority, because of the majority’s ambivalent mind and racial mixture. The poets write the majority’s ambivalent mind. The majority has ambivalent mind that they are superiority and inferiority at the same time. Because they is the strong as compared with the weak, and they are the weak as compared with the strong.
And the poets show the imagination of racial mixture. The fact is ideologic that Korean is a unitary nation and ethnic group. Because Korean is racial mixture for ancient time and contemporary.
