Global citizenship refers to the rights and responsibilities of members of a multicultural society. The future society should respect the culture of minorities. They must be able to coexist in our society. They should be able to actively participate and play a role in social activities. This study focuses on multicultural service cases of Japanese libraries. The more libraries provide multicultural services, the better citizens' global citizenship will be. In addition to providing information and resources, the library is responsible for educational and community building functions.This is the Multicultural Library Manifesto of IFLA / UNESCO. The library's multicultural services increase the capacity for citizens to live meaningfully in a multicultural society. The library's multicultural services aim to enable members of society to continue their lives in a multicultural society with global citizenship.
