This paper is aimed to suggest assignments Korea should deal with through strategy comparison of KoreaㆍChinaㆍJapan for increasing competitiveness on hinterland(Free Trade Zone). The 3 countries have effectively operated Free Trade Zone to induce a Hub of harbor and logistics. Especially, the leading countries such as Korea, China, and Japan in Northeast Asia are making their utmost efforts to activate it and introduce various incentive systems in order to preoccupy the role of logistical Hub in East Asia and to induce more global enterprises. Under the circumstances, it is considered difficult for Korea to play a leading role of hub in Northeast Asia unless Korea solve problems and assignments on Harbor environment improvements and those of Free Trade Zone as soon as possible. Accordingly, Korea should establish prompt response and immediate revision by finding out comparative analysis and systematic advantages related to harbor and marine of Japan and China.

(3) suggest strategies on developing competitive power on hinterland
