The purpose of this research is to explain and interpret about the story of human's life and mental world as well as to describe the model of human's life who live in this age and consider the story psychology in qualitative research method that is the best methodology in developing pastoral counseling model. The research method was mainly literature review. I looked at case studies about cultural technology method with base theory phenomenology that is announced as qualitative research method and reviewed story psychological qualitative research method. I introduced the purpose of the research in the first chapter, and announced about story psychology, life story, making meaning of story, categorizing of story type, script theory, story structure, and elements. In the third chapter, I lookedat research method of story psychology, introduced about biographical statement, in-depth interview, coding chart, and restructuring of life story as data collection method. As data analysis method, there's no unified data analysis in qualitative researchmethod, so I introduced about data analysis strategy with the idea of researcher. In the last chapter, I asserted about the necessary of qualitative research method in story psychology for new Korean style of counseling model and made a conclusion.
