This research is aimed at arranging the frame of standard of rating scale analyzing the level of Cardiorespiratory endurance by inquiring into whether there exists any difference in rating scale in PAPS-designated evaluating items for students including step test, a long-distance running, and a long-distance shuttle run. This research set up its 200 male & 200 female students at the general junior high schools, and 200 male & 200 female students at physical education middle schools located in 4 cities and provinces as its study subjects. Targeting each group, this research conducted step test, a long-distance shuttle run, and a long-distance running-walking, and then figured out the mean of the rating scale and standard deviation. In addition, this research made an analysis using T-test and F-test in order to verify the difference in rating standard value by measuring pattern of the two groups, and then did a posterior test in Turnkey method. As a result, there appeared a significant difference in grade between the three patterns in male & female students at general junior high schools; therealso appeared a difference in grade between the three measuring patterns in male & female students at physical education middle school. Likewise, there appeared a significant difference in grade between the three patterns. Especially in case of female students at general middle school, there appeared a very big difference in grade between three patterns; in case of the students at physical education middle school, step test was characteristic of having a lower grade than the other patterns.
