During the past two years the researchers of Spanish and Latin American history tried in earnest exploration of new areas of research. They were interested in exploring new research subjects and methods, based on accumulated research capabilities. However, despite the tremendous efforts of a handful of researchers there are still a lot of work to be solved.
The number of papers increased, but there was no difference in the number of researcher as before. It is necessary to raise subsequent generations for academic continuity. Interdisciplinary studies are also required to expand the breadth of historical researches. Latin American countries were built through historical interaction, and deeply interrelated. And so macro analysis beyond natiional unit is also meeded. Latin America can be regarded as the hybrid region, where various kinds of cultural interaction happened. Therefore, the search of the various approaches beyond the existing research methods is needed.
