The development of automotive technology and increased consumers demand changes in the criteria for evaluating the emotional quality of the vehicles, not only the car"s performance as well as noise and vibration from the vehicle and the sound quality of the vehicle has emerged as an important factor. These things include wind noise, door closing sound and sand noise (almost everything you can feel) and many research to improve this are actively conducted in recent years. In this paper, the sound quality factor of sand noise which affects the subjective evaluation is defined by Taguchi S/N ratios and the standard reference model which can be calculated from measuring sound is suggested by using T-method.
