The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship among youth-after-school teacher’s leadership behavior styles, self-esteem, exercise flow and continuous participating intention. A survey was conducted to participants who enjoyed physical activity youth-after-school programs at middle school. To analyze data, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, structural equation model and Sobel-tests were used. The results of this stud were as follows.
First, there is no effects leadership behavior styles on continuous participating intention. Second, the analysis had positive effects of instructing and guiding behaviour and democratic behaviour, democratic behavior and socially supporting behaviour on exercise flow. Fourth, the analysis had positive effects of self-esteem on continuous participating intention. Fifth, the analysis had positive effects of exercise flow on continuous participating intention. Sixth, self-esteem had mediation effects between leadership behavior styles(guiding, behaviour and democratic behaviour) and continuous participating intention. Seventh, exercise flow had mediation effects between leadership behavior styles(guiding behaviour and socially supporting behaviour) and continuous participating intention.
