‘Evolutionary Psychology’ is a newly developed interdisciplinary science. Concerning the traditional debate on the relation between hereditary and environment, so called ‘evolutionary psychologists’ contend that human mind is not ‘tabula rasa’ but that it consists of psychological devices evolved in a very long and complex process of evolution. They try to understand all phenomena and aspects in the human life via the lens of evolution. Through these explanation they divulge a tendency to scientific imperialism. They acknowledge that the practical implication of their own theory is a little bit deterministic.
