This article tries to review of Spainish and Latin American historical studies of Korea during the past two years. The researchers of Spainish and Latin American history have studied a wide variety of subjects. Despite of the lack of the researchers, Spainish and Latin American historical studies of Korea made a notable achievement like qualitative deepening and expansion of research fields over the two years. In the Spainish historical studies, the researchers intensified the quality level of existing research subjects like ethnics minorities of Castile, the Inquisition, Franco Regime, expansioning into new areas of research such as anarchism, Mondragon, ETA and so on. In the Latin American hitorical studies, the researchers improved our understanding of the indigenous people and populism. Furthermore they approached a new topic like Latino, the Transatlantic relationship etc. One of the promising perspective of Spainish and Latin American historical studies of Korea is a deepening of the quality level of existing studies. The other is a popularization of Spainish and Latin American historical studies. And to do so, first of all, the researchers have to intend to approach a theme from our own viewpoint. Then, they must make an effort to write and translate general statements and books of major. If do so, the future of Spanish and Latin American hisotical studies of Korea would be promising.
