This study is to investigate impacts of partnership between Defense Acquisition Program Administration and Defense Industry on Supply chain management (SCM) performance and suggest implications to develop defense industry and strengthen global competitiveness through the analysis of relations between partnership and SCM performance.
The findings are as follows. First, based on the precedent study results the study divided partnership operation and execution factors into mutual respect, mutual benefit, communication, and information sharing and factors strengthening partnership into trust and collaboration. Second, the higher mutual benefit, communication, and information sharing are, the higher trust is, and mutual respect has no significant effect. Third, when mutual benefit is higher, collaboration is higher. Mutual respect, communication, and information sharing are not statistically significant on collaboration. Fourth, higher trust causes higher non-financial performance but is not statistically significant on financial performance.
