Movement education has been implemented in current educational institutions into a highly viable and well-accepted way to approach the teaching of physical education in the elementary schools. Rudolf von Laban, the originatior of the basic precepts of movement education was more concerned with the qualitative aspects of movement than with the quantitative aspects centering the major thrust of his energies on dance as an educational medium. Many curriculum models based on the philosophy of movement education were vitally concerned with 1) personal discoveries that are made by an individual while he or she is moving, 2) the way that person moves, and the qualities that communicated by the movement. In fact, dances as education has not been practiced in field by movement education curriculum model. A programme is predicated toward formulating dance as education. 1) Pre-teachers, students of Teacher`s College should have due understandings about movement education; 2) Teaching model of dance by levels and specific sample of teaching are needed; 3) Educated dance educator and indoor space are necessary; 4) Sufficient opportunities should be provided to children in the classroom or auditorium to evaluate a particular experience, to share a newly acqired skill or to demonstrate their solution to motor problems.
