The purpose of this study was to analyze the kineatic aspects such as performance time, position of bodily gravity, angle of body joint, and velocity of joint in order to find out characteristics of handspring. A visual analysis served for the estimation of this study. Four well-trained calisthenics were examined in this study. The results of this study reveled that (1) of all intervals except the fourth interval, the salto forward stretched was more fast on the performance time than the soalto forward tucked. A overall time that was taken for this performance for each movement was 1.45 seconds for the soalto forward tucked and 1.42 seconds for the salto forward stretched; (2) there were no significant differences in the vertical height of the overall events between two kinds of movements. The salto forward stretched was 12.8cm higher in the fourth interval than the salto forward tucked. The salto forward stretched that are required the large rotation is inclined to land on the bend upper body; (3) the salto forward stretched was more extensive on the body joint that the salto forward tucked; (4) while the salto forward stretched was inclined to increase velocity of the bodily joint with the rapid flexor of joint, the salto forward tucked was to facilitate velocity of ankle on the platform with hands supporting on the ground and extension of the knee joints.
